NUTRINOSH

Nutrinosh emerged from a personal journey for visually appealing and health-conscious snacks. As someone with a family history of diabetes, I've always been on the lookout for healthy snack options.

However, my quest extends beyond mere nutrition. As a designer, I crave snacks that not only nourish my body but also ignite my creative spark and make me eager to indulge.  The idea to create Nutrinosh sprouted from a desire to inspire customers not just through the quality of snacks but also through the allure of thoughtful design. I aspired to create a brand that not only promoted healthy eating but also conveyed the message that choosing nutritious options doesn't have to be dull or unsatisfying. The project draws inspiration from influential brands like Siete Foods and clean aesthetics like Chobanni, blending colorful design, innovative branding, and design packaging. I chose this project specifically because I noticed that there are very few  healthy snacks brands that convey a fun and inspiring message to the consumer, plus lacking design in all aspects. The best way I can explain it is how some healthy products give off this clean and nutritious vibe, but the packaging is just plain and not inspiring nor delicious-looking. I've stumbled upon products that are fantastic – healthy, tasty, you name it – but their packaging makes them seem like a bad choice. In a world flooded with options, I pictured Nutrinosh as the go-to for both feeling good and looking good.

The genesis of this project stemmed from the noticeable lack of well-designed packaging for nutritious snacks. Supermarket shelves offered few products that truly stood out in terms of appearance and allure. Nutrinosh wasn't merely about slapping a label on a bag of snacks and calling it a day. It aimed to create an experience—one that would prompt people to pause and think, "Wow, I need to try that!" The goal was to blend the goodness of wholesome snacks with the excitement of vibrant, eye-catching packaging. As someone constantly seeking healthy alternatives, I saw an opportunity to create a brand that not only offered nutritious snacks but also sparked visual delight through its packaging.

From creating the Illustrations, choosing the colors, choosing the typeface, the packaging shape, and design. This project not only symbolizes my growth as a designer but also the path I would like to take in my professional life.

When it came time to choose a path for my senior project, I initially gravitated towards branding and packaging design for a coffee brand. However, I soon realized that I wanted to explore a broader canvas. Inspired by the success stories of rebranded products like La Croix, Chobani, and Siete Foods, I envisioned Nutrinosh as a unique and design-oriented venture focused on healthy snacks and living. While I have yet to implement branding and packaging design in a professional context, my goal is to contribute to the contemporary landscape by infusing it with innovative and visually compelling brand identities. Nutrinosh taught me not only about the research aspect of each brand identity but also about the importance of differentiation through vibrant, unconventional design.
